I’m happy to share the below Sydney Wedding Guide FAQ’s around Photography and planning your special day. Although they were written from a Sydney perspective I feel they can be used anywhere in the world. I hope this helps you in your quest for the perfect wedding day and please get in touch with any more questions here.
How long is the average photographic coverage for a wedding day?
A minimum of 8 hours is a great amount of coverage for your special day though some couples require longer coverage in which case I’m happy to cover.
Will you edit the all the images?
Yes. I’ll edit all your wedding day memories using Professional Image Editing Software.
My wedding will be held outside of Sydney or potentially in another country – do you travel?
Yep! I just need my client to cover my petrol for interstate weddings and if it’s a destination wedding then Accommodation and Flight costs.
Are you able to take the family shots at a wedding?
Definitely. They’re an essential part of the day. The best time to shoot these is after the ceremony and you’ve had an opportunity to greet family and friends and newly married couple.
What camera equipment do you use?
I use professional canon cameras, lenses and always carry a second camera as a backup. I also like to use film cameras for their timeless look and feel.
Do you have a Blog?
Yes, click here to access.
How many photographers are coming to my wedding?
It’s really up to my couples, the packages I offer start with one photographer but I can offer a second photographer.
How much time should I allocate for photos throughout the day?
Please use the below as a rough guide:
* Groom Prep – 30mins – 1hr
* Bride Prep – 1.5 – 2hrs
* Family Shots– 15 – 25mins
* Location Portraits and Bridal Photos – 1 to 1.5hrs
My favourite and one that produces Amazing images is stealing away at Sunset for 10-15 minutes, trust me on this!
Are you able to print and provide albums?
Yes. If my clients want a photo album I can design and source premium quality paper and craft books, printed by industry leading printers.
When will I get my Wedding Photos Back?
I deliver all edited images on a Reel Imagination Personalised USB Package within 4 weeks.
You mention an Online Gallery in your Collections, what is this?
This is an online private display gallery of all your images which you can access on any device. It displays your images in a very well structured collage-format, similar to a photobook or lookbook style. Please click here for a sample.
Do you provide pre-wedding photoshoot sessions?
Definitely. They’re always a lot of fun and produce great results. Please view my Engagements page for examples of my work and get in touch to book your session.
What is your photography style?
As opposed to many industry photographers my professional style is very natural and humble, I’m not a staged photographer that tells my clients, “put your left hand here, look into your brides eyes lovingly and hold it”….. Yuk! The most beautiful moments happen between two people when they believe they’re alone and really present with each other. My number one goal is to develop that all-important trust, be invisible and photograph pure magic. I choose to set couples in a natural environment and portray the beauty of love between bride and groom and our beautiful world.
Where can we find your packages and prices?
All my wedding packages start with the following:
